This is my second year working at Summit Academy High School. I hold an A.S. from Utah Valley State College, a B.S. from Southern Utah University, and an M.A. from the University of Phoenix.
I absolutely love Summit Academy where I spent last year as an assistant principal. My experiences in my career have taken me down many different paths. It began by playing football down at SUU which solidified my love for coaching athletics and education. My professional career began in Houston Texas where I taught special education in a behavior unit and coached football. I then moved back to Utah and taught PE/Athletic Director in Salt Lake City, Bonneville Junior High, and then made the move to North East Nevada in administration at the high school level.
I love working with students in learning and developing lifelong skills to be successful in whatever they can dream of achieving. My goal is to make Summit Academy High School one of the best schools in the State of Utah. I believe the key to this is building that personal capacity within each individual using positive relationships, essential social interaction, as well as a challenging academic base to further cultivate lifelong learning.
In my free time, I enjoy family, reading, travel, just about all sports, and macaroni salad!
