Career Center

The Career Center helps students explore possible career pathways. There are a variety of brochures, fliers, and software programs to assist students in choosing a career, college, technical/vocational schools, or training beyond high school. Come down and visit us!

Mountainland Technical College
Students interested in attending Mountainland Technology College (MTECH) during their Junior or Senior year should stop by the Career Center for a brochure with helpful information. Also, students planning to attend need to contact MATC before April 20th, 2017 to receive a college student number, take the entrance, meet with their counselor, and maybe meet with a specialized advisory.

Salt Lake Community College

Students interested in attending Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) during their Junior or Senior year should stop by the Counseling Center for a brochure with helpful information. Step one: apply at SLCC and pay the $40 registration fee. You will receive your Student S# and then select the class(es) up to two classes per semester that you are interested in taking. Once you have selected the class you need to check that you meet the prerequisites. There will also be a CRN class code assigned to the class you want to take. The CRN must come from the Concurrent Enrollment list. You need to email your high school counselor your full name, S#, and CRN with class title. Once the counselor has approved you for the class you will be able to register through SLCC.

If you would like additional support selecting classes or have more questions it would very helpful to reach out to Joanna Black through email at joanna.black@slcc.edu.
