Ms. Natalie Call, Principal & High School Director
Words can’t even describe my excitement for this new opportunity as principal and director of Summit Academy High School!
I have been a professional educator for over thirty-two years. My experience includes teaching for the Weber County School District, Laramie County #1 School District, Jordan School District, and Sevier District before being appointed the principal of Sage Creek Elementary in Nebo School District. While serving in Nebo School District I also worked closely with Vital Smarts and became a certified trainer in the concept of Crucial Confrontations. Early in my career I was named Young Careerists for the state of Utah by the Business and Professional Women’s Association of Utah. Most recently I was honored by Nebo District as the Distinguished Principal of the Year, Literary Principal/school of the year and Human Resource Principal of the Year.
Born and raised in Ogden, Utah, I received a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Weber State University. I later received my master’s degree in education administration from the University of Utah and have held an Education License concurrently since 1980.
I truly believe that each and every student is important and has so much to offer. It is a blessing to have spent many years with students of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds. I feel there is no greater responsibility in the world than helping to shape the minds of future leaders.
You will find that my door will always be open and I welcome anyone to stop by and visit. Summit Academy High School has so many great students and I'm looking forward to meeting them all.
Here's to a successful and fun new school year!
Mrs. Erin McRae, Assistant Principal
I am excited to return to Summit Academy High School and serve alongside the new principal, Ms. Natalie Call!
I have been in the educational field for over thirteen years and was the assistant principal at Summit Academy High School before transferring to the Draper K-8 campus to serve as the assistant principal the beginning of 2017.
Relatively new to Utah, I moved to Lehi a little over a year ago. I was born and raised in Burnsville, Minnesota but lived in Phoenix, Arizona for seventeen years where I earned my degree in special education from Arizona State University. I was an English teacher at Liberty High School and served as Special Education District Representative for the Peoria Unified School District while coaching both high school and college soccer.
It's hard to leave the Draper campus. I learned so much from the wonderful faculty and student body. They are easy to love and difficult to leave. But I'm looking forward to a new school year at Summit Academy High School!
